FMS Volleyball Team
Each year, from May to September, Field Mold Solutions sponsors a volleyball team made up of family and friends to play at The Dominion House in Windsor. The team will be back on Wednesdays this May for another successful season! Feel free to stop by in the evening to cheer them on.
Local Robotics Team
On April 1st, Villanova’s WiredCats robotics team celebrated their 2nd anniversary while also competing at the Windsor Essex Great Lakes Regional FIRST Robotics Competition. Nearly 1000 students, making up 28 teams, gathered to compete at the University of Windsor’s St. Denis Centre all hoping to qualify for the provincial championships in Mississauga. All of their hard work paid off and they continued onto provincials and then qualified for the World championships in St. Louis, Missouri.
As a second year team, the WiredCats were proud to announce that they placed 10th out of the 68 teams in their division. It was a huge accomplishment just making it to the worlds championship and not only did they place in the top 10, but also received the Judges Award! Field Mold Solutions is a proud sponsor of this team of innovative students and we look forward to following and supporting them when they compete in the FIRST Robotics Competitions next year.
